"What causes war – religious, political or economic?
Obviously belief, either in nationalism, in an ideology, or in a particular dogma.
If we had no belief but goodwill, love and consideration between us, then there would be no wars.
But we are fed on beliefs, ideas and dogmas and therefore we breed discontent.
The present crisis is of an exceptional nature
and we as human beings must either pursue the path of constant conflict and continuous wars,
which are the result of our everyday action,
or else see the causes of war and turn our back upon them." J Krishnamurti

The Bible book Zechariah has a diabolical vision, one that gives Bible revelation about a flying cylinder loaded with consuming fire and Divine intervention to manifest in a Supernatural act of selective destruction.

This site offers help in tracking the prophetic Restoration War prophecies and accompanying 'return' of the living descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel, found in the Old Testament / Mikra. The great tragedy about these things is sets of 'belief.'

5:1 "Then again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and, behold, a flying scroll."

5:2 He [the messenger] said to me, "What do you see?" I [Zechariah] answered, "I see a flying scroll, its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits."

5:3 Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the surface of the whole land, for everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it on the one side, and everyone who swears falsely shall be cut off according to it on the other side.

5:4 I will cause it to go out," says YHVH TZE'VAOT, "and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name, and it will remain in the midst of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones.”

Moments Before Impact

The message and the vision open. A large scroll is in flight, and seen by Zekharyah. The messenger explains to him what it is:

The scroll is a container

The container carries an offering

It is called Wickedness

The container carries inside, under lead, this evilness, a fire.

The fire harnesses energy to consume not only timber but also stones of houses it affects over a huge area. The fire will search and destroy selectively.

The Flying Scroll’s Function and Features

First, what is an efah? An efah (ephah) is a measure implying a basket, a container of size to hold an amount. The efah serves to illustrate the function of the scroll, that is – it carries. It is definitively always deemed by the messenger as the container. Then the description goes on to show what the container carries – an evil fire capped by lead. The flying scroll has two wings in common with those of a stork, the appearance of wing tips ajar.

Made For An Apocalypse

A cylinder-shaped container

Its size and features

Its contents, consuming fire

The affects its contents will have

Where the container is to be housed, meaning set up prior to its flight

Its location from which it will take flight – from the ‘east’

Zechariah saw it come into his vision.

The Context

In the original Hebrew, the same consonants are used for both a “woman" and "fire-offering.” The chapter’s context is about a flying object carrying a consuming hellfire, Divine intervention, and selective destruction. Zechariah five is not about two women. It is not about any messiah or moshiach. Nor is Zech5 about the proliferation of the Torah into every home. You are beginning to grasp the plain meaning in the context – yes?

Housed and Set Up in the East

The messenger says a house will be made for what Zekharyah described as a huge scroll in flight. It will be set up, established, readied in the housing. The fiery furnace will be housed in a land known anciently as Shinar, part of the Middle East. Shinar was east of Eretz Yisra’EL. Today Shinar is primarily Iraq in area. However, borders have not remained constant. Some of what was known as the land of Shinar may now, on the current Middle East map, be inside the modern borders of surrounding nations Iran, Syria and Turkey.

From 'her' place – whether her housing be located in today's Iran, Iraq, Syria or Turkey, the fiery furnace, this weapon of mass destruction will make its flight into the land Eretz Israel.

Zechariah Five reveals one vision, the use of a weapon of mass destruction, a wmd.

Location

Pause a moment. Ask yourself: where was Zechariah standing when he saw the vision of the scroll in flight? Was the prophet standing in Shinar? No. The messenger informed Zechariah what was (to be) going on in Shinar. Moves that preceded the object taking flight. He wasn’t standing in the United States of America, or the UK. Neither was he standing in a far-flung destination Downunder. Zechariah was also in the Middle East standing in the Land of these Prophets, in Eretz Yisra’El at the time this vision projected.

Supernatural Selective Destruction in Bible History

Numerous are Hebrew Bible recordings of historic events in which YHVH intervened with acts of selective destruction that turned in favour of preserving ancient Israelites. One such event is found in the book of Daniel. Check it out. Daniyel Daniel 3:19 - 29 provides us with a clear reference in Mikra history that involved a fiery furnace, Divine intervention and Supernatural event of selective destruction. The efah was a ground-based container of consuming fire! A big oven.

Prophetic Allusions

Now, the Tanakh (aka Old Testament) has many references to fire, hot wind, evaporation of enemies. Allusions of burning, gone like dust, being consumed in an instant. These hint to the use of nuclear weaponry.

Yirmeyahu Jeremiah 30: 23 to 31: 7

30:23 Behold, the tempest of YHVH, even his wrath, is gone forth, a sweeping tempest, it shall burst on the head of the wicked.

30:24 The fierce anger of YHVH shall not return, until he has executed, and until he have performed the intents of his heart, in the latter days you shall understand it.

31:1 At that time, says YHVH, will I be the Elohiym of all the families of Yisra'el, and they shall be my people.

31:2 Thus says YHVH, The people who were left of the sword found favour in the wilderness, even Yisra'el, when I went to cause him to rest.

31:3 YHVH appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

31:4 Again will I build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Yisra'el, again shall you be adorned with your timbrels, and shall go forth in the dances of those who make merry.

31:5 Again shall you plant vineyards on the mountains of Shomron, the planters shall plant, and shall enjoy the fruit of it.

31:6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen on the hills of Efrayim shall cry, Arise you, and let us go up to Tziyon to YHVH our Elohiym.

31:7 For thus says YHVH, Sing with gladness for Ya`akov, and shout for the chief of the nations, publish you, praise you, and say, YHVH, save your people, the remnant of Yisra'el.

Tzefanyah Zephaniah 2: 1 – 11

2:1 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, you nation that has no shame,

2:2 before the appointed time when the day passes as the chaff, before the fierce anger of YHVH comes on you, before the day of YHVH's anger comes on you.

2:3 Seek YHVH, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of YHVH's anger.

2:4 For `Aza will be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation. They will drive out Ashdod at noonday, and `Ekron will be rooted up.

2:5 Woe to the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Kereti! The word of YHVH is against you, Kena`an, the land of the Pelishtim. I will destroy you, that there will be no inhabitant.

2:6 The sea coast will be pastures, with cottages for shepherds and folds for flocks.

2:7 The coast will be for the remnant of the house of Yehudah. They will find pasture. In the houses of Ashkelon, they will lie down in the evening, for YHVH, their Elohiym, will visit them, and restore them.

2:8 I have heard the reproach of Mo'av, and the insults of the children of `Ammon, with which they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.

2:9 Therefore as I live, says YHVH TZE'VAOT ELOHIYM of Yisra'el, surely Mo'av will be as Sedom, and the children of `Ammon as `Amorah, a possession of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation. The remnant of my people will plunder them, and the survivors of my nation will inherit them.

2:10 This they will have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of YHVH TSE'VAOT.

2:11 YHVH will be awesome to them, for he will famish all the gods of the land. Men will worship him, everyone from his place, even all the shores of the nations.

Yeshaiyahu Isaiah 33: 10 – 16

33:10 Now will I arise, says YHVH, now will I lift up myself, now will I be exalted.

33:11 You shall conceive chaff, you shall bring forth stubble, your breath is a fire that shall devour you.

33:12 The peoples shall be as the burning of lime, as thorns cut down, that are burned in the fire.

33:13 Hear, you who are far off, what I have done, and, you who are near, acknowledge my might.

33:14 The sinners in Tziyon are afraid, trembling has seized the godless ones, Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? who among us can dwell with everlasting burning?

33:15 He who walks righteously, and speaks blamelessly, he who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands from taking a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking on evil:

33:16 He shall dwell on high, his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks, his bread shall be given him, his waters shall be sure.

'Ovadyah Obadiah chapter 1 tells war in the Middle East and the Restoration of Israel.

1:18 The house of Ya`akov will be a fire, the house of Yosef a flame, and the house of Esav for stubble. They will burn among them, and devour them. There will not be any remaining to the house of Esav." Indeed, YHVH has spoken.

1:19 Those of the South will possess the mountain of Esav, and those of the lowland, the Pelishtim. They will possess the field of Efrayim, and the field of Shomron. Binyamin will possess Gil`ad.

1:20 The army of the exiles of the children of Yisra'el, will possess the Kena`anim, even to Tzarfat, and the exiles of Yerushalayim, who are in Sefarad, will possess the cities of the Negev.

1:21 Yasha will go up on Mount Tziyon to judge the mountains of Esav, and the kingdom will be YHVH's.

Israel’s Destiny: Home Coming and Restoration War Prophecies

What is juxtaposed over and over in the Tanach with the reunification of Yehudah and remainder of the 12 tribes of Israel (currently in exile,) is the war with Edom, Moab and Ammon. War centred in the Middle East. In the above Scriptures – notice: Some have references to allusions of consuming fire, hot wind, the idea of instant evaporation.

Prophetic Sequence of Events

Hebrew Scripture strongly appears to tie these prophetic events together:

The vision in Zechariah Five, which is highly likely to precede and trigger –

Reunifying the two houses of Israel in prophesied war with Edom, bringing end of exile with the –

Restoration of ALL living breathing descendants of two ancient kingdoms, Judah and the House of Israel

Rich, lame, sick, the poor, from space to ocean depths, none shall be ‘left behind!’ It will not be the choice of any living Israelite descendant in that day and at that time to remain living in exile. How the ingathering will fall out is a matter of – we shall see - But who in fundamental human decency would want to? Israel’s destiny has been spoken for. Judah cannot fulfill these prophecies alone. The destiny of 12 tribes of Israel has been declared it would seem!

A WMD, Divine Intervention, and Selective Destruction

We have heard, and we know by the laws of science, nuclear weapons are awesome terrible things that kill and destroy non-selectively. IF, however, a weapon of mass destruction were to harm only those considered by The Eternal to be thieves and ones swearing falsely in his name, along with their dwellings, then that might be an event of such magnitude the parting of the Red Sea would pale to beside. The God of Israel's Vengeance By The Hand of His People

Read the entire chapter of Ezekiel 25. In it you find the backlash of retaliation. You can identify where the backlash will take place – in the Middle East. The same war scenario is spoken of in the prophetic accounts above. Look at the verses around those that speak of Restoration. Same context. Note verse 25:14 in Ezekiel “I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Yisra'el, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, says the Master YHVH.”

The prophetic Restoration War appears to be retaliatory. Victory favours the returned 12 tribes of Israel. Would this sign, the Flying Scroll event signal the end of exile and trigger the living descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel to reunify in retaliatory restoration war against Edom, Ammon, and Moab?

There's Nothing New Under The Sun

The Tanakh is replete with the theme of 'Restoration' prophecies, the resumption daily animal sacrifices to be carried out under the Aaronic kohanim [priesthood] system, and moshiachs of the line of David. The excerpts above show how 'war' is to accompany the end for Israelites in exile, living in diaspora. Then there are the RESTORATION 'AFTERMATH' prophecies of peace and prosperity for 'regathered' Israel. BUT, MORE WARS are to follow. At least two. The latter of the two is the prophetic Magog Invasion into (Restored) Eretz Yisra'el.
